IME Sony PDAs had a history of collecting dust and other items under the touchscreen. My 730 (Palm) picked up some, but it never got to be too bad. I'm more concerned about the non-easily user accessible battery for replacement when it eventually would need that as the PRS-700 is the best buy for me at current pricings(no Fry's in 250m of me o.w. the story would be different).
