Hey Dr! Indeed I have. There's also a sequel called The City with an even more lurid cover (see attached) and that one was toned down.

Richard Haigh is actually a pen name for British schlock-meister Laurence James. There's a small publisher Piccadilly Publishing that has been republishing his westerns and a series of Hell's Angels fantasies he wrote. I emailed them to ask if they had any plans to reprint any of his horror work. I'll let you know if they reply.
