Thanks for the tip; everything was in order for both libraries when I ran the maintenance. As for the plugins, I already had some idea that the ones important to me were ready.

I back up my configuration directory once a week (I learned the hard way a long time ago ). Thanks for the reminder on the DeDRM plugin - I was still on 7.2.1.

After all this, I successfully upgraded to 6.8 and everything looks good for now.
