I like having windows neatly tiled. I wrote a new Windows program to allow quick selection of tiling. The little popup shows how I can get 40% width Firefox, 40% Notepad, 20% Shell.
Personally, I like more screen space. If I was using a desktop computer often enough, I'd use it with a 4k TV. That would give me lots of space. I do watch a lot of movies. But for that, I mostly use the LG OLED C1 65" TV.
