I do use the warmth when reading in artificial light. I find the default too harsh in those conditions. In daylight I don't use the warmth.
I always read with the frontlight on. The screen (of any ereader) just looks ugly to me otherwise, greenish or yellowish gray. And I dislike bright room lighting. My rooms are normally pretty dimly lit, by choice.
Personally I strongly preferred the Oasis 3 to Oasis 2. The differences may have been marginal, but they were certainly noticeable. But yeah, I like my Kobos more.
