It took a while but I've gotten used to subtitles. I think they actually help my concentration a bit - I've always had trouble remembering character names and seeing them seems to help.

We finished S3 of Crimson Rivers - another pretty good French series, hope a S4 comes along. Now watching and so far enjoying Dalgliesh.

Looks like inflation has taken its toll on 99 cent Prime channels - they more than doubled to $1.99 this time around! I'll bite the bullet and get Britbox, not sure about Acorn or PBS this time...

Edit> Now that I look, I don't see Acorn in the list of discounted channels - very disappointing.
