I bought a Kindle book ($10!) on the double points day and got no points at all.
This happens far too frequently with Kindle promotions; how much time do you spend chasing a trivial sum? Contacting cs always takes forever. And yet there’s a bait and switch aspect to these faulty promotions that’s infuriating.
My only rational course is to give up on the program. If the points fall into my lap that’s fine, but I’m not going to participate in any more dodgy promotions that involve my spending money for a dubious outcome.
