I *think* you want to find a given category value in the tag browser, for example some tag on a book.

You can do this easily using Quickview. Ensure the Quickview pane is open. In the books list, click on the cell containing the item you want to find. The possible items (e.g., tags) will appear in the left-hand list in Quickview. Right-click on the one you want to see in the tag browser and choose "Find item in the tag browser". Or depending on what you are trying to do, right-click and choose "Find item in the library. Or simply left click on the item and you will see the list of books with that item in the Quickview pane.
