You don't need to embed metadata, if you convert after that. Metadata will be embedded during conversion.

The rest... if you really want all those features, I guess there are no shortcuts. Personally I don't use KFX, Goodreads, WordWise or X-Ray, and don't need ISBN for this reason. YMMV.
