It did improve a lot, i used 3000Mah(original is 1200Mah) battery. But with that big of a battery(its 3mm thick vs the 1.7mm of the original) you cant put the back cover in place. So it can be used with a case to serve as a back cover, or 3d print a back cover that would have more height clearance for it to fit.
