I read about x100 more books than involved editing/formatting/publishing. Sometimes more than that. I spend hours reading most days, now without the guilt I had when at school or working during the day. I 99% percent read for fun, though I can call it research if I want to. I'll often read authors I'm not familiar with either old PD titles or cheap books from Charity Shops (money goes to poor, animal welfare or Africa, or disability, or domestic violence shelters depending on the shop. Oxfam though charges nearly as much a supermarket discount, they want rich shoppers. But I support local charities)
