IMO they're easy to press and not stiff (as long as you press on the outer end), but then I didn't think the Oasis buttons were stiff either. I sold my Oasis a month ago, so can only go by memory now. This seems to be one of those things that's highly individual and subjective anyway.
One thing to keep in mind is that the Libra is slower than the Oasis. Not a snail, but there's no instant response after touching something in the menu or the book list like on the Oasis. You'll have to wait a second or so. Page turns are fast enough for me. And the screen is better.
Kepubs tend to be faster on a Kobo than epubs.
