Simplest way to get them back is to reinstall calibre - that means an uninstall and new install - you wont lose any libraries or preference settings in doing that.

Which operating system do you use - Windows, Linux or MacOS?

I use Windows 10

I have uninstalled and reinstalled Calibre a couple times, with no affect.

I went out to https://extensions.libreoffice.org/e...h-dictionaries and downloaded the newest English dictionary and added them as new. Didn't do anything.
