File name as noted on my computer using the file manger.

Penric's Labors - Lois McMaster Bujold.epub

This is from the calibre library folder as named by calibre.

Every file I've emailed via calibre lately (which includes the author in the filename by default) arrives in the Kindle library with the author in both the title and the author slots. This is unfortunately by design since Amazon no longer regards that little hyphen in the filename as indicating that an author follows. It gets its author info from the file contents and regards everything in the filename as a title.
