Is there a way to keep the author out of the filename upon importing/adding a new book? And keeping it out of filename after any conversions?

Books imported from Amazon never have the author in the filename when they are originally downloaded to computer "for transfer to device via usb". The author only gets into the filename when added to calibre.

It adds the author to the filename (by reading file contents) from any imported book, from any source, even ones that have no author in the filename.

So calibre must read the author from the file contents upon adding/importing the book. Can't it be told "DONT'T DO THAT"? ...via an option of some kind in preferences?
