aha, careful there ! "not a hedgehog" would indeed refer to any animal other than the adorable hedgehog. but ! the "not hedgehog" is actually a specific entity in its own right, and not simply the negation of another entity. specifically, it is the specific entity seen in tirsales' avatar (we're pretty sure that's tirsales himself) ! (and possibly others. we're not actually sure just how many "not hedgehogs" are to be found in the wild, because they are rather shy creatures and don't like to be counted.  ) so, a vote for "not hedgehog" is indeed a vote FOR something, and not a vote AGAINST something. clear ? |
