Changing the
author_sort_copy_method tweak setting to 'copy' instead of 'invert'? As I recall, the FFF 'Force Author' setting only exists because somebody wanted to both have Author sort == Author for FFF books
and keep
author_sort_copy_method='invert' for other books.
When I changed the Author sort field for a unique author to something different (ie, not "LN, FN"), the 'Author sort' box in Manage Authors dialog still showed 'invert' applied to Author, not the contents of Author sort for that book. I didn't try changing anything
using Manage Authors--that wasn't the question.
