I donated via PayPal a few months ago. I wanted Kovid to know my appreciation for the help he has provided me. I found it annoying that there was no way to add my forum username to the donation. Essentially my donation became anonymous.
Next time I'll try Github as at least my username there matches my username here.
The forum should also consider a "Donor" status for members.
