Mmm, I find that doubtful. Isn't the NoteX2 in that Chinese video? All of them are octocore.
A report that Leaf 2 might be released internationally:

Oh! Check your device if this file exists:
Code:
$ ls -l /sys/devices/virtual/switch/hdmi/state
$ cat /sys/devices/virtual/switch/hdmi/state
It's part of the bit about supporting external HDMI, but no guarantee.
Edit: I'm beginning to think that the 636 Onyxes (like Poke3) only have a bit of HDMI stuff left in them for an (unimplemented) physical HDMI connector on the device.
I think that
maybe the 662 Onyxes (like NoteAir2) have DisplayPort alternate mode.
To run an HDMI monitor, you'd need a ~$40 adapter and not a ~$15 adapter.
If you have an adapter that works on a Chromebook, please try it.
Could somebody with a 662 Onyx get me this file, please:
Code:
C:\>adb pull /proc/config.gz
Or you can check yourself for what it says about CONFIG_TYPEC_DP_ALTMODE
Code:
$ zcat /proc/config.gz | grep TYPEC
