Look, there is a world of difference between an Xmas gift for a long-term, loving spouse of any gender, versus your hot young nubile love and bedmate, ya know? When I was a kid, it was common practice for my father to give my mother a nice, practical, "mom" type gift --and he also always got her some very scandalous lingerie, too. Never let her forget that no matter what, he burned for her first, to be...somewhat indelicate about it.
Just sayin'. Hell, Mr. H and I buy each other practical stuff now. But that wasn't the case {mumble} years ago, bygod. There needs to be a little life left in the old carcass!
