Hello DNSB, thank you very much for the image! My kobo N705 is back to life but again I am stuck on the same step - setting up the device. Firstly I should choose language and then there are two options - Setup through computer and Setup through WiFi. If I choose WiFi and join my perfectly working home network after a few seconds it appears "Network Error Oops, something happened to your internet....". The first option for Setup through a computer is totally not working because the computer is not seeing the device. If I plug the SD card directly into Mac's port the computer detects it immediately. I think it's a common problem but still cannot find a solution.
The kobo is charging normally with the same cable. I tried to install different updates for Kobo Glo or for Kobo Mini but always it finishes with request for factory reset and reversing to its own old version of firmware. I tried also with Kobo Desktop app. I really don't know what should I do to force this device starts working for me. Any ideas?
