I have an issue and I'm trying to find out what might be causing it. It's not a huge deal because I have a workaround, but I would like to find the cause.
A few months ago, I started sending kepubs to my clara by checking the box in the extended driver. Several books have opened full screen, no header or footer, and the text extending past the edges of the screen. Tapping repeatedly will eventually let me go back to the book screen, although sometimes the reader just freezes up. Deleting the book from the device, doing an epub to epub conversion and resending works most of the time.
Now I have a webnovel that I update weekly and it happens everytime even after an epub to epub conversion. I can drag and drop the epub to the device and it opens normally. Also, if I do a epub to kepub conversion, it sends to the device and opens normally.
I really haven't opened that many books in the past few months, so probably 20% of the ones I have opened have glitched.
I would appreciate any ideas for a permanent fix, if possible.
