The releases in 1.23.X focused on mostly improvements and resolving bugs that were discovered that include:

-- Fixed bug with system menu displayed over highlighting menu
-- Fixed bug for removing downloaded eBooks from devices
-- Fixed bug for some PDF highlights not showing up
-- Better offline mode support and improvements for low bandwidth connections.
-- Other updates and improvements.
We have a few exciting updates coming up in the next 1-2 releases that include:
-- Dedicated highlights view on the bookshelf
-- See and filter all the highlights you made across all your eBooks from a single interface
-- Initial support for Apple Pencil to make highlights
-- Show last 5 used highlight colors in the top level bar
-- Save themes/reading settings and sync them across devices
