Similarly, I once bought an after-market sleep cover for a Clara. The cover had a kickstand, and the kickstand (when not being used) was held in place by a magnet. That magnet played havoc with the sleep function and drained the battery in short order. When I removed the reader from that cover, everything worked normally.
