I can well imagine the display will be crisper & performance less sluggish than either the 10th gen Kindle or Kindle Paperwhite that I have, with USB-C, 5GHz WiFi, and the lighter weight are attractive relative to those two as well. I think it would be a 'spare' that I would actually use.

I got it to take out when I go places, as I find the PW4 too large and heavy for that. I also traded in a Kindle, though UPS seems to have lost it. I traded in a recent Kids Kindle, the screen wasn't very good though my daughter didn't seem to notice. I gave her a Kobo Glo HD and kept the new basic Kindle for myself.
