Well, hell, Rumple,make sure that the show named and the show I said I liked were the same! The one I liked was...just a
bit wonky. Enough offbeat where I liked it but not so nutty or slapstick etc. where I couldn't watch it.
Doc Martin is sort of the outer edges of my humor, in terms of sightgags and that sort of thing. Dunno why, but exceedingly few TV comedies and almost zero movies that are called "comedies" really do it for me. Perhaps I'm just a tedious old bat, lacking a sense of humor. (And laugh tracks or live studio audiences are an IMMEDIATE no for me. Again, dunno why, but no can do.)
