Chances are good she'll land on her feet, especially in this economy. Your job is to keep in touch -- she won't be able to call you when she needs someone, but if you stay in touch, then you can suggest "lunch" after she settles a bit in her new gig. And you can then ask her about a job with her. Because she almost certainly can't ask you, no matter how much she would like to.
