Note KF8 = azw3 file ending. A mobi file ending can have various things in it.

from 3.4.3 works with KF8/AZW which also allows embedded fonts. No embedded fonts and other stuff missing in mobi (except dual mobi which has old mobi/KF7 and KF8 inside).
