thanks for that hint!i have tried that again, using a epub i bought. the result still does not look like the kindle version (wich looks like the physical book - i have that too...)

attached is the "embedded style" version (compare with the one from first post..). the epub is directly from the publisher, not converted by me.

Is that normal? or do i still miss some setting to achieve the same results?

The difference is that the Kindle has larger line height. You would have to increase the line height in KOReader to get it to be similar.
