If you remove the book its folder is deleted from the library.

Would it be feasible to split the books into two files, one containing the Latin/Greek text the other the English translation. I do this with heavily footnoted text, so that I read the text and the footnotes alongside one another.

If that's feasible we can discuss how you might store the two parts in a calibre library.

Which operating system do you use - Windows, MacOS or Linux?

Thanks for your suggestion of splitting the book. I am on Windows 10

I think, though, that the fastest way is still the one I usually follow: opening the same book in two PDF Readers ( in ny case the FoxIt Reader) and pointing to the Latin/Greek text in one reader and the corresponding translation in the other reader. This is , of course, if ( it is a big IF!) I can get the DRM removed and the book converted to PDF in Calibre.

The problem is that for some reasons, Calibre cannot always remove the DRM from some of the Kindle books, hence the PDF conversion, even with the proper PLUGINS installed. won't work.

A reader suggested to re-download the book from the library and explained how to do it. It worked great, with the exception of one book.No big deal.

I think the problem is solved, for the moment, but it aways puzzles me that it doesn't work for some books...

Thanks for your input
