I have a weird, minor problem. I'm not sure if it's a calibre issue or a kindle issue.

I plug in my kindle oasis to my PC and use the send to device functionality. This converts my epub to a AZW3 file. Everything copies ok to the device.

However, when I open the new book on my kindle, I find that my kindle has changed from the bookerly font that prefer to the ember font. If I go to the settings, it will stay say it's on bookerly, but that's not actually true. I have to toggle it to a different font and then back to bookerly to get it to display properly.

This only seems to occur with books I've sideloaded from calibre. I've checked and as far as I can tell I'm not setting a font anywhere. These are just downloaded fan fictions via fanficfare plugin.

Is there a setting or something that causes this issue?
