I agree with you. That's why I sold my last eink Kindle yesterday and use MoonReader those few times I happen to read on my phone. I was content with Amazon software for years when I knew no better; but not any more. Still, I expect that the vast majority of users are still comfortably ignorant. I probably would be too, if I hadn't joined MobileRead and broadened my horizons.
