Update:
Back to my box and checking the problematic SD card showed no errors.
Flashed a previous good image and its back in the device, working OK.
Something must be wrong with the card reader of the laptop I used to flash it at the first try.
So if the card was not the culprit, the mystery is still not solved..😡
Anyway, since I can disable the USB checks, maybe it won't happen again.. 🙏
