Flicker is not necessarily visible but it can have an effect on how your eye/brain coordination relates.
My son has the Ipod video. The image is beautiful crisp and flicker free. He lent it to me so I could watch Ice Age on it. Ten minutes in, I was crying like a baby. Not the movie you i...t!
It was the relation between size and refresh rate... I did'nt finish the movie, can someone tell me how it ends?
