You're slightly too mysteries be helpful. Right now nobody, including a the guy who's name is on the snapshot thread, knows a way to jailbreak a Kindle FW > 5.14.2. When you have a Jailbroken device and update to a newer firmware, the jailbreak is still there but kinda non-functioning before you reinstall the update hotfix. Only updating/resetting multiple times should erase the jailbreak.
I believe the"jailbreak" part simply puts a new update certificate on the kindle (with which the hotfix is singed). While the hotfix makes it "more permanent" and enables all the nice stuff.
