that's how i feel about most old cars compared to new ones ! but the DS is really in a class of its own. it had hydraulic suspension (many citroën models do) so when you started the motor the whole thing would rise up a little before you got going, and then when you parked it it would slowly lower closer to the ground. they're famous for allowing you to change a wheel without a jack. and i don't know about james bond (although i could easily imagine a young sean connery in a ds... miam !), but ex-french president Charles de Gaulle drove a DS.
