That's the part I've never been able to figure. I would love to see the Nook line succeed. I like their hardware. I like their UI. But their software is lacking and they make dumb decisions like partitioning the memory and finding a Nook in their stores is like Where's Waldo.
But Nook development seems to be a black box. I've yet to find anything aside from the generic customer service email.
When the GL3 was released, I actually found an email address for B&N's president and sent something there. That got me calls from his assistant and Nook did roll back partitioned storage on the 3.
But management has changed since then, so no joy.
