There is a recent thread about how sending EPUBs via email has recently changed to produce incorrect title and author, no longer using the EPUB metadata. See Send to Kindle won't send author name from metadata.

It sounds like the same thing also applies to sending MOBI using the STK app.

Could you clarify that last statement? How do you get the correct author name to show when sending via email?
