Kindle Fire to calibre?
A friend maintains that her deceased husband used to be able to connect her old kindle Fire to Calibre to side load books. She has been unable to get Calibre to recognize her Fire since he died. Neither the Fire nor Calibre have been updated in the 2.5 years since his death.

Fire HD 8; 8th generation; build #0024529062020. It's running Fire OS 7.3.2.4,

Is there a way to get Calibre to see her Fire? Or should she just bite the bullet and get a kindle?
