Also my phone has a real 3.5mm jack socket. Better & cheaper audio than BT and no bud charging. Musicolet on Android for DRM free Audiobooks & Music (playlists & folder playing) and Pocketbook on Android for TTS. Android 5 or later. My Mars eink ereader (Android) does let you play audio on a 3.5mm jack while reading but it's rubbish to use for audio compared to a phone and rubbish to browse ebooks compared to Kobo.

Also it's not simple to put 3rd party audiobooks or music on a Kobo that has BT.
