If there were option to display Collections view in List format, it would be pretty close to the prior List view sort-by-collections option. But Collections view displays everything in Grid mode. Oh well.

I’m a ‘play it as it lies’ person so none of this particularly bothers me.

I use Collections view almost exclusively, with my ‘Started’ collection open to show the books I’m currently reading. I have another collection ‘Read Next’ which is a short list of books to choose from when I finish one of the Started books. I spend almost no time looking through the thousands of unread books I have on my Kindle, looking for something to read.. It’s far to inefficient to do so. Better to use the Kindle mobile apps or Manage Content web page or calibre for this.
