Not only in America. Kobo (Rakuten) is doing a really poor job of making their e-ink devices available in more territories, considering Rakuten is also a pretty huge company.
If I want to buy a ClaraHD here, I'd have to pay more than I would for a Paperwhite 5. For someone who just wants to read and is not picky on their library organization (totally not me), it's a really hard sell.
Price point is really the only thing stopping me from jumping ship. I just can't spend that much money on something that I know should be a lot cheaper. I'd just be getting ripped off.
