Life's too short to drink bad wine (or bad whisky, for that matter!). Chalk it up to experience and use it as cooking wine. Most dishes you cook from scratch can be improved with a splash or two of white wine. And even overly oaky chardonnay is just fine for that.

Back to faux San Pellegrino tonight.
