Right, but truly, the operation I'd envision to be most frequent is syncing the reading status/progress of the one book I'm reading, between devices. Ideally, the most automatically possible.
Could a daemon running on one kobo, getting a request from the network to mess with the kobo sqlite database and update the reading status/progress of a book, be a realistic idea? Or is the sqlite db locked when the ereader isn't USB mounted?
