It came from the tweaks. If I have set the tag browser sort order and then later delete the column, it messes it up because the tweaks still has the column listed.

I thought it was user catagories, but then I deleted them and still had the problem. I thought it was the Job Spy preferences, saying that I restricted deleing from a column, but that wasn't it. I went into the set preferences for tag partitioning and tag heirarchal choices and deleted the entries and reset them because they get all mixed up with duplicate columns after a while.

Finally, I went into tweaks and checked the tag browser sort. The sort included the previously deleted column. I reset the tweak to default. No problems now.

This is a problem with tweaks, if a column is deleted, then it will still be shown in tweaks and might mess things up. If there is a way to alert a user to this possiblity it would be helpful when trying to figure out why some things go wrong.
