You can also add books to a library with drag drop of format files from your file manager onto the book list.
And you can add formats to existing books via the clipboard, by 'Copying' them in your file manager with Ctrl+C and 'Pasting' them into book lines in the book list -- give Add books->Add files to selected book records from clipboard a keyboard shortcut, I use Shift+Alt+V.
