I have a lightwedge too..I haven't had it that long, and I've tried to be careful with the whole ereader itself to prevent any scratches...so far it has been fine...ALOT better than using a booklight. I've used the light more often than I haven't. Even in daylight, it's nice to have that extra bit of light.
