Names with initials are messed up, any fix?
So I've been trying to get my metadata sorted for several thousand books, and it was in a pretty bad state initially. But I think I've made it worse myself, since I'm still getting used to Calibre.
I think I probably clicked "copy sort values" a few times in Manage Authors, or run the JS+ and Quality Sort plugins, and I've ended up with a mixture of messed up author names for those that have initials.
Names like Clarke Arthur C. and Woodiwiss Kathleen E. (before Author Sort), when they should obviously be Author C. Clark, Kathleen E.Woodiwiss.
But the other names that don't contain initials are fine.
Calibre then reads these initials (such as E.) as LN, so it puts Woodiwiss under E instead of W.
I'm wondering if there's any quick way to sort this, instead of going through all of my 1,308 authors?
I've looked through Tweaks, and the JS+ and Quality Check plugins, but can't find anything specific that works.
For example, are there any fixes that will scan author names and take letters before a period (.) and put them before the LN?
