On our first day of our vacation, last night, I managed to trip and fall. You have to go up a steepish ramp to get to the house, in front of the ramp is a row of paving stones about a foot square before the road starts. But the tarmac is a bit higher than the pavers. I managed to trip over the edge of the tarmac when we were heading out to dinner.
I now have a slightly bruised left knee, but I expected to be very stiff this morning but that wasn't the case. I've also got a bruise on each hand, and it looks like my right hand and shoulder to the brunt of the fall, because those are sore this morning.
Otherwise, the cottage is lovely. I think it's my favourite rental so far.
