There is only one animal: The Tasmanian Devil! All other are insects, and as we now, insects are not really animals - more like funghi (thus not related to bananafish in any way).

Now that I'm thinking about it, I can imagine some more animals ... Cute little dragons (dragoons would be okay too, though dipping in chocolate might be difficult).
Well .. Nematodes are nice (hey, find another species that is so good at bugging genome researchers!), and could be tasty with honey (perhaps even dipped in chocolate). NTL perhaps not the scariest of species - especially not when compared to squirrels!

But I fear the question has already been answered: Velociraptors on Hoverboards ... After all, a Defense Organisation has already formed, but is failing so far. Just have a look at the risk of raptor attacks map!
